Good for pads. Be careful with heavy bags.

If you plan on spending a lot of time with a heavy bag (real world weight 150 lbs or more), I do not recommend using it without additional hand wraps. They are durable and work well with the built in wrist wrap. but if you want to use force, i would recommend suitable training gloves for this. I used them on my heavy bag the other day with no bandages and as is and was still tearing the skin on my ankles.

Pros

size M was too big for woman hands and I don't like the white gel pads on the knuckles. I ended up taking them off as they are for body combat and it looked weird. The wrist protection was perfect for a real hit of the bag and pad, but not as good because the exposed Velcro catches on the fabric too easily. I would end up cutting off the outer long wrist wrap and leaving the tape on the bottom of the wrist but then it loses color and isn't as protective. I generally keep them but only use them…

Awesome gel bandages for heavy bag training

You are amazing! They are great for protecting my joints. I train with a heavy bag every day and the traditional bandages have torn and injured my joints. It could be because of how I wound, but more than likely because I used them every day. One of the trainers at the gym suggested trying gel wraps instead and I love it! They are not small, but medium ones work very well. No problem. This type of Everlast seems to stick a little better than other Everlast gel wraps. I liked them so much I went

Pros
  • Protective gear

  • I have no complaints about it everything is fine

Great for bruised joints, bad for holding your meat.

I bruise my ankles way too often so I tried them and they are great for protecting my ankles! The problem is that after an hour of use it tore the skin on each hand between the pinky and ring finger (near the knuckle). The size chart on the Everlast website says I should wear a large one (as I did) but I think the problem was that the gloves weren't long enough for my hand, so the material at the time I wrapped my wrists, had my fingers digging into the webbed fingers and left my knuckles open…
