Perfect connection!: Exhaust and emissions

This is the perfect connection! I wasn't sure how well this would work, so I first wrapped the linkage with muffler repair tape. It was a little loose initially, about 1/8th of the gap on either side. But as I tightened the nuts, the connection started to be tight at the joint. It fits so snugly you can see the notch from the last muffler pivot I had. I had to shear the bolts after they were fully tightened to loosen the skid plate, but that's not a design issue. I definitely recommend it

He comes! You can't just tighten the clamp with your fingers!

Used these to install a 2.5" aftermarket exhaust on my Ford Focus. The clamps are flimsy, but that's a good thing in this case, as they can be slipped over a pipe joint in tight spaces. At first I thought they were too small, but then I realized you can't just hand tighten them, you have to take a wrench and ratchet and go to town for an overlap! They work. I used Permatex. Ultra Copper high temp RTV on them, but you can choose not to use any sealant on them at all.

Perfect fit, does not leak.

Bought 2 of these to replace the single bolt clamps that came with my Texas Speed exhaust; which had small leaks despite being tightened to the stripping point. This clip design just works better. I immediately noticed that they fit tighter to the exhaust pipe with less effort than my other clamps. With a normal clamping torque, I was able to achieve a very good seal. The most important thing is that there are no leaks. I am ordering two more of these to have on hand and next time I remove the…

I had to go back and look at the picture.

I've never used this clip and was almost ready to give a bad review. It was all printed, then I looked at the pictures on the listing and realized I didn't assemble the clamp correctly. I dropped the clamp, tightened it and now the chrome tips are secure and shouldn't come loose. I squeezed them and twisted them as best I could without damaging the tips and they held tight. So these clamps really work if the stainless steel eyelets you buy are too big for your car's stainless steel pipe…
