Complete scrap of spare parts

Zero stars. Spend your money on Russell, Aeroquip or even Jegs. Absolutely undeniably the largest piece of scrap aluminum manufactured to mimic real AN rebar. The sleeve was so small at the point where it first fits onto the hose that even a cool tool could not pull it open. This was with black braided nylon line, not braided steel line. All he did was push the braid back and gather it into a bun. Cut out and flashed 3 times. Same result. And I've installed hundreds of fixtures with ease. I…

Not compatible with standard AN size wrenches.

Although they appear to fit the -6 fittings I have, they are not the standard -6 key size. If you have a set of AN wrenches other than mar and want to use these, don't buy them. Go for the Russell or the Aero Motive or the Summit or whatever. An 18mm wrench is used instead. I assume mm aluminum will do without mara. But cheer up! I haven't pressurized the fuel system yet. I bought them to hurry and of course hope they close properly. Edit: After receiving the an4 fittings as well as the ones…

Buy Evil Energy! on fittings

I have at least 50 Evil Energy fittings. So far there is no leak, defect or problem. Sizes 4an, 6an, 8an and 12an are used. Supply air, oil, coolant and power steering fluid with these hoses and braided stainless steel hoses. stiff/thin band on hose to control wear when cutting with a grinder or Dremel cutting wheel. Blow out the hose with compressed air, there are pieces of rubber in it. A little water-based assembly grease helps the adapters at the end of the hose to join together. You can…

But it works. for fittings

These fittings appear to be very well made, just as nice as Russell and Earls. The problem is that they don't use the same thread size for the end of the fitting (the part that goes straight, 90 degrees, 45 degrees, etc) that screws into the sleeve (the part that goes through the hose). This means you cannot exchange them for other brands. Many times I've assembled a hose and then had to re-align it so I usually just change the end - all other brands I know use the same thread size (I've used…

Worst hose ends AN

The first one I used leaked. So I made sure the mandrel and insert were tight; it moved a little effortlessly, so I started spinning it around until it stopped. The problem was that he didn't stop, he just unscrewed! So I cut off the hose and carefully mounted another one. Everything seemed fine until I put pressure on him! Oil began to seep around the spike. Knowing it was tight I removed it from the fitting and made sure everything was clean. Reinstalled and same problem. I cut the hose off…

NOT FOR BRAID HOSE SS

Like many who have used AN fittings in the past, we assume that -8 equals -8. Having renovated 30 or 40 cars in my life I have a good understanding of how these fixtures work. First, let's get everything straight. These hose ends must not be used with STAINLESS STEEL BRAIDED HOSE. they must be used with braided nylon tubing. If you try to install this brand's style on your silver stainless steel hose it will be a disaster. Installing these fittings on black nylon braided hose works perfectly…
