I used 2 identical clamps on 2 different sized fuel filters, pre and post that come with Holley Sniper EFI. I removed the rubber band from the wicked power clamp to install a large high micron post filter.

bought for use in front of my Walbro 392, it leaked so bad I lost 2 gallons of fuel overnight just sitting in the parking lot. When you try to start the truck, it sucks in air. Also the recommended mount they offer is too big for it. This filter is also very long, longer than my pump etc. Basically I spent a week of my life getting it to work. take another filter.

This is a nice looking filter and I hope it does the job. The unfortunate thing is that with a filter sold as a heavy duty part and used with AN fittings, the AN keys will not fit in the end caps. The end caps are somewhere between AN11 and AN12. So unless you have an aluminum adjustable wrench, you risk scratching the surface with a standard steel metric wrench. A poorly thought out design that I will replace when a filter change is required.

Instead of paying $40-50 for Holley filter regulator mounts for my 12-888 I gave these 50mm away for free . Bracket shot by Evil Energy. I'm happy to report that it fits snugly but is fairly easy to put on with a little slight twist or put on with some lube. I marked and screwed the screws into the frame before installing the filter/regulator into the bracket. This made it easy to install my hardware before mounting the finished assembly to the frame rail.

While it is true that the end caps are not properly machined for the o-rings supplied, replacing 16 or 17 x 1.5mm O - Ringing provides an adequate seal (and possibly after) application of the pump. I could slightly machine the ends for o-rings but that would expose bare aluminum which would corrode faster due to the methanol I run it through. Also, I always use Permatex #85420 for all aluminum threads. It acts as a lubricant, sealant and is resistant to fuel and ethanol.

I received this yesterday, the housing is good quality and comes with 3 JIC connectors of different sizes. The filter inside is junk and just a mess of wires that I didn't trust. I found Autozone's Fram G2 filter to fit in nicely. I preloaded the filter with 60psi air for 2 hours and it held up with no leaks or issues. With the G2 filter, I enter that for $32.65. Not bad considering the cost of other filters of the same size for jet, vertex or speedway engines. I would recommend the case but…

A good thing to be honest. My only issue is that there was no step to install the ring on the seat. Straight AN fittings require an o-ring to fit into a tight fit, luckily in my case it's not pressurized or I'm pretty sure it would be leaking. Since I'm a machinist, I took the step myself. It would be nice if they offered a 10 micron filter for a little more money. I bought a filter to accommodate a 10 micron filter element. The quality is pretty good. The reason I gave the filter a 2 is because it didn't come with the 6an connectors it was supposed to have and I didn't get a response from Evil Energy when I messaged them saying the the problem was explained. .
