All is well. Since it was advertised as a ph meter, I was expecting a slightly more accurate reading. It's an analog gauge, which is on the cheaper end of the scale, so I can't/won't whine. If you need measurements accurate to the tenth (0.10), then this meter is not for you. It works and takes you to the stadium, but that's about it.

This function is ok, I have decided for a better pH meter. It works as expected and the detailing is quite reasonable for the price. I gave it 5 stars even though it looks pretty cheap but considering its cheap money it works as well as you can expect for the money. This is detailed enough to find out if your soil's pH range needs an adjustment, but the information displayed cannot be relied upon to a large extent. I would only use it as a means to get the general idea.

I already had another one but wanted to be able to work in more than one location so bought this for my daughter! Looks like we have a problem with plants! The work takes very little time and the tests compare very well to the lengthy and complicated process of using the small kits that you get in other stores. No mess, no fuss, stick it in the ground and choose what you want to know! DO NOT leave it in the ground, a friend bought one and left it at the factory, it's rusted so it's unusable…
