Used the JSCAN app and Veepeak OBDII adapter to power on and connect the rear camera. I watched some youtube videos to help. Selected power supply that turns on when the key is turned on, and not just to turn on the reverse lights while waiting for a future LockPic purchase. Love it! A 2012 JKU with a 4 inch lift on 35s and tinted windows makes for terrible visibility when reversing. This is a game changer!

The camera provides a very good and clear image, you just need to keep the lens clean. Ha, it's on a jeep and it's getting dirty :-) The camera has a very wide field of view and for 17" rims shows part of the rim at the top of the screen. You can upgrade the camera with the included hardware, but then you could hit the camera/mount when removing or replacing the spare tire.

Another Chinese capitalized product for sale on this site. I installed it all day but there are no photos. It comes with very cheap hardware and terrible installation instructions. The camera is held in place by two micro-screws, but the workmanship is so poor that one just fell out. FYI you need to activate the camera with a standard device like the 430n via the dealer or the JScan app (which I used). Save money and buy something else. Fortunately, returning to Amazon is very easy.

I was trying to replace another type of camera that is currently mounted on the license plate frame. Connected normally but no picture. Unfortunately I had to test this on a bench first before I could run wires all over the jeep. I ended up having to pull that out and reinstall my old one. The camera is very cheap, all plastic, and the holes drilled are too big for the screws that come with it. They just fell into the holes and fell out as soon as you turned it upside down. Definitely not worth

Quick to assemble. I finally got around to installing it in my 2008 4-door Jeep Wrangler with the factory stereo/head unit.
