High quality welding and soldering

I make car battery cables myself, they are great. Used gauge 2 and 4. Very flexible. The case is made of high-quality welding cable, so apparently it can withstand high temperatures.

Excellent quality wire. in welding gear

I have this mainly for stereo setups it works GREAT for. The wire and insulation feel very heavy and I wouldn't hesitate to put this on a mobile rig. Also ideal for large solar systems.

Looks Right - Welding and Soldering

It looks and feels like a quality cable. The outside diameter is as advertised (0.35 inch) where I measured the copper looks clean. The shell feels rubbery and smells like EPDM chemicals. They and the wire have good flexibility at room temperature and in frosty weather. Cable Specialists is an American company that has been in business since 1994, according to its website.

I'm not a welder. Why do I need this cable? The answer is simple: solar energy. I am building my solar power plant. This includes a battery bank consisting of an even number of deep-cycle batteries connected in parallel. To do this, I needed several short cables to connect the battery poles.
