I'm not a welder. Why do I need this cable? The answer is simple: solar energy. I am building my solar power plant. This includes a battery bank consisting of an even number of deep-cycle batteries connected in parallel. To do this, I needed several short cables to connect the battery poles. They carry a significant amount of current and must be large enough for efficiency and safety. This #4AWG cable is ideal for making connections. I'll cut the segments to length and crimp the terminals with a two-handed crimping tool. What I like Full copper conductors for efficient electrical transmission (see photo). Thick insulating shell. Flexible in size. It's easy to work with him. What I don't like I didn't find anything I didn't like. Recommendation This is a rugged, industrial class #4 cable. Despite its diameter, it is flexible and easy to work with. With a pure copper conductor, it efficiently transmits electric current. I highly recommend it.
