I've never used this type of hinge so for the price it was worth a try. I used the Kreg tool which made the installation very easy. I used a 3/4 piece of wood to try. 1/2 is the number of overlaps when closed. I'm concerned about the gap so I use the cabinets in the garage instead of the house.

I couldn't find these loops locally. I pulled the numbers from a broken OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) hinge in our kitchen cabinet. I looked at the picture on Revain and it looked ok. This is the product I was looking for. However, when I opened the package I only found 8 loops instead of the 10 I was expecting I had paid for. The plastic bag had a hole on the side edge, but this plastic bag was put in an extra large bag for shipping reasons. There were also no extra loops in the large plastic bag. I shorted 2 loops. A little unhappy.

I really wasn't expecting Blum quality for the price. These hinges work but they are very thin metal, looks cheap, some of them started to bind just after a few days of use (helped smear the lube that puts them in the right places on the inside of the cup lubricate) and I also don't use them on anything other than very light doors.
