Exception Tracking Made Easy For All Engineers

The best thing about exceptionless is that it helps to keep track of our errors, no matter where they are located in the app. I can now see all my exceptions from anywhere in one place. As for their support team - unfortunately we've had some issues with them as well when trying to setup an account or make changes/updates using API keys provided by them. They have been great so far but not enough time has passed since then to really give a good assessment at this point. We were having problems

Pros
  • The ability to track errors and exceptions of any kind, with the ability to quickly find them and easily report them
Cons
  • It's a bit confusing and convoluted

Exceptionless really helped us keep better visibility

The ability to see all errors in one place, not just those that are being reported from our backend systems! It is great for tracking issues with your codebase when it comes time do deploy changes or new features across multiple environments (dev/staging / production). I wish there were more options available within this toolset like customizing alerting rules so we can have some type of granularity over what gets sent into Slack etc.. Our team uses exception less extensively but still does…

Pros
  • Great dashboard view
  • Ability send alerts via email if needed
  • Good UI Design
Cons
  • Notifications don't always show up directly

ExceptionLess monitors your web app’s error pages

I like that it allows me to create custom rules for my own use, as well as share them with others. It's easy to set up alerts, which is useful if you need to keep track of errors from multiple applications. The interface could be more intuitive and user friendly. It can take some time to get used to how to use this tool effectively. It also doesn't have many integrations out of the box. However, I've been able to find workarounds for most problems. I'm using exceptionless to monitor exceptions

Pros
  • I like that it's easy to use and gives me the ability to create my own rules
Cons
  • It doesn't have many integrations out of the box
