I got a 100 watt first, I have a dimmer and it hardly needs to be turned on to get the temperature I want. So I switched to 50 watts. Everything works and heats up quickly! Keeping my hermit crabs warm this winter!

So far it's no worse than my usual gecko lamps. I switched to nocturnal a while back as he seems to be somewhat nocturnal. I'm glad I was able to buy so many in bulk! They are all transported in good condition :-) thank you!

The color of the lamps is amazing, you are lucky if the aluminum part detaches from the glass itself. Also, if you leave the bulb on all day, it will only last about a month. After a month, the lights go out and sometimes come loose, just like light bulbs that have never been used.

The lights arrived in excellent condition. I use them to add some warmth to my leopard geckos. They have UTH as their main heat source, but these bulbs add more warmth without being too hot. I've noticed a lot of activity during the day since using them instead of the red lights which were too hot.

These heat lamps are great for my leopard gecko! I've been using them for many years. The durability is great, the warmth optimal, the presentation perfect. Most importantly, it's really good value for money. My lamps just broke when my dome body broke. Other than that, I think I only had one bad lamp that broke for no reason. Always buy them when there's a good deal and just stock up on 3-4 for future use. Satisfied and highly recommended!
