My dog loved it, he loved being wheeled around the airport and people loved him. I flew American. I flew from PA to SA, 5 hour flight. I was traveling on business (front row), didn't have to slide the trunk under anyone's seat. My dog had enough space to stretch out. I have a maltipu, it weighs 18 pounds: it's big for a maltipu. I recommend this product for any dog under 18 pounds.

I bought this for a flight where I am taking my two small dogs. I didn't know the wheels were removable so that was a good thing because otherwise they made it too big to fit under the seat. The only thing I didn't like was that the handle that attaches to the wheels wasn't very strong. It feels like it could tear or break at any moment. It was great to get through the airport quickly, just not sure if it would take time.

My 15lb Shihtzu loves this bag for just sleeping or walking around. He brings his toys with him. He likes it so much he managed to tinker with the stretchy mesh and poke a hole in it which I didn't use to fly although I really want to try. I bought it with wheels just in case it gets easier. It fits him perfectly with lots of clearance as you can see in the photos. I would be curious if anyone has used this with wheels in flights.

This item was perfect for moving from Hawaii to Arizona with our Pomchi/Maltese 🐕! Fits great under an airplane seat and it was great that the sides got wider to give our little guy a little more room to get really comfortable! We unzipped it as we walked through the airport terminal so it could stick its head out and it was so easy to wheel it to baggage claim and then car rental. Absolute purchase recommendation 👍🏼😀!

I've just opened my replacement order. I had to return the first one as the metal handle broke as soon as I got to the airport and I had to lug the stretcher around the airport using the canvas handle that came with it. It was very difficult to get around and I was very upset. I sent this one back as soon as I got home and just opened a replacement. I'm very disappointed again! Great van for travel (shipped from the east coast to California). Had 2 flights on Delta and they said it looked too big but dumped me when I gave them the dimensions and that I could take the wheels off. The handlebars aren't that strong, so I just pull a little. I don't pull it up when I need to lift carts like on an escalator or stairs. The carrier fits in an economy seat. I would highly recommend this carrier for small pets. We have a normal size Shih Tzu and he fits right in. When he arrived we actually opened it and he immediately ran in and lay down. I think the soft fluffy lining made him really comfortable. We left it open a few nights before the flight so he would get used to it and not just associate it with a trap.
