Works best with switches and relays

Replaced the fuel pump relay in my 2006 Navigator. Works perfect. If only Ford hadn't soldered them to the board, the swap would have taken less than two hours.

Pros
  • Relay
Cons
  • Obsolete model

$12 Fix for the fuel relay/truck die.

Yes, $12 repair instead of replacing the entire panel ($400). I've never soldered so I had to find out, but Expedition has been going perfectly since we fixed it. Thank you and I am so thankful for Google! The 2004 Ford Expedition worked great.

Cons
  • Expensive

Saved me $500

Worked great when the fuel pump relay in the fuse box failed. Had the shop professionally soldered part of my fuse box for my 2004 Ford Expedition, my truck died while driving and had to be towed home. My local mechanic diagnosed this and suggested replacing the relay attached to the fuse box circuit board. The part is exactly the same as the one that came from the factory and he took apart the fuse box and replaced the burned relay! Now my car runs!

Pros
  • Switch and Relay
Cons
  • Thrown away
