Transform Your TV Experience with this Adapter

This ExpressCard 34Mm Adapter Dual Port is a game changer for anyone looking to expand their TV watching options. It easily connects to any electronics with an ExpressCard slot, adding two extra ports for even more entertainment possibilities. The simple plug-and-play design makes setup a breeze, and the adapter provides smooth, high-quality streaming without any lag or buffering. The only downside is that it may not be compatible with all devices, so be sure to check before purchasing.

Pros
  • Allows users to add two additional ports to their device.
Cons
  • The adapter requires an ExpressCard slot, which is not available on all devices.

It works, Windows 7 AND El Capitan. (macbook Pro 4.1)

Let's face it, if you're buying this you probably have a ten year old laptop. It's cheaply made: the outer shell is flimsy, and you have to flex the case a bit over both ports to allow it to "grab" your USB ports. This is basically a hidden mount. The latch seems to be quite tight in the ExpressCard slot. I'm not sure why people claim it's "easy to extract". Works great with HFS, exFAT, Fat32, etc. However, it works great. Moving a 7.3GB ISO file on Windows gives a transfer rate of 104MB/s…

Pros
  • Low Power
Cons
  • Something else

OK, with some caveats. UPDATE 12/24/16

I was a little disappointed with it but I think it will work as far as speed goes. I chose two of these for the dual purpose of 1) enabling my two aging laptops to have USB 3 speeds, and 2) performing a dual-port USB 3 disk-to-disk transfer. The first goal was achieved when I easily installed the card in my Inspiron 1545 and Dell m1710 laptops. In testing, data transfer rates ranged from 70 to 80 MB/s using standard hard drives (I don't have SSDs as portable drives yet). I was hoping for a bit…

Pros
  • Please install the driver from the ASM1042 folder on the driver CD (supports macOS, not Linux openSUSE)
Cons
  • Very expensive
