I have a lot of experience making cables but if you look at the colors they sometimes look good , but they are not correct. For years I relied on my own skill, but now I rely on a network cable tester. It works as advertised and I would recommend it to anyone doing their fair share of cables.

Not only does it test "computer network cable" and "TV cable", it's also good for testing other cable types, but you didn't know that from the disposable guide that came with it.
