I bought this to fit in both of our Vicks humidifiers and it works great. The six pack was a great thing. We can save add-ons and use them when needed.

We bought these as an alternative to the Pritec WF2 filter. Unfortunately, they are significantly smaller than the WF2 filter. It was about 1.5 inches shorter in width and too short for our humidifier. We have returned these. I will not buy again.

Filters are used in the Vicks V3700 humidifier. It's rare to find the filters you need in big stores, and I ended up spending $15 on a Protec WF2 filter in CVS (I needed it that evening). So far - 2 nights Extolife has been on the block - so good; the humidifier uses about 1/2 of the water (as with the Protec filter).

Purchase for my wife who uses our Vicks humidifier every night. They fit fairly well and are snug, they do need a bit of squeezing, they are of good quality and construction. For the price they work really well with this type of humidifier, you still have to change them out fairly regularly, but for the price and the convenience of a six pack I think I'll keep buying this one.

The reason we reviewed this product on Amazon was because the filters were no longer available in our area. We also always liked the associated humidifier. We were very thankful that the filters were still there and in abundance. Using a humidifier helps me a lot to get rid of a stuffy nose so I can breathe easier.

I bought these filters because of course they were cheaper than the brand that came with my Vicks humidifier. However, the fibers appear to be stiffer and more difficult to fit into the shell than branded fibers. Also, the filter dried out the first time it was used and didn't absorb properly. However, in the last 2 days I haven't had this problem. There is also a silvery fiber (looks like a thin strip of foil) running through that is not present in the original filter. I bought these last year and they last all winter so I ordered them this winter. Not only did they turn yellow within a few days, but they stank, making my daughter's room smell like mold. I had to change the filter after a few days and then immediately got dirty and the next. Also, they resized these filters, and although my humidifier is listed, it no longer fits properly and you really have to pound it in there for it to close. Poor fit can be due to mold.
