Well it looked pretty sturdy and hopefully it will work for a Corgi, they are very strong. The problems I am concerned about are that the handle has a seam that has not been smoothed and it hurts my hand just holding it and the clip is more for a small dog leash and I’m worried he will break it and I’m too old to chase him. I hope the 110 lb guarantee holds.

It's got a little heft to it that I don't mind because it feels sturdy and solid. The leash does not retract very fast if that's important to you. The only design flaw is that if you go for long walks and use the stopper button often then you will notice that your thumb is rubbing in the plastic and it has two plastic seams that come together. Mine has a slight gap and it is not smooth to the touch. That's the only critique I have for this product.

I've tried many brands of retractable leashes in the past and I have to say this one is best so far! The leash overall is very high quality and the price is reasonable. This is perfect for walking my 80lb Yellow Labrador retriever. It gives him just enough room to roam a little and is strong enough for me so far.
