🔔 Guardline Receiver Long Range Driveway Alarm Review

Bought 2 receivers to put in 2 separate buildings. They are currently in the same building, originally both sounded when activated. Now only the one works (with a different programmed tone). I was too busy to study it further.

I would give this four stars but it picks up vehicles intermittently and seems to get wild all the time. Overall a good deal for the price but living in the country you need to be warned when someone approaches your driveway, not just 75% of the time.

Great motion detector! I bought an extra base to put next to my bed. In the middle of the night people would show up driving down my long driveway to steal from my cars parked outside. Sensors in the driveway and at the base warned me of unwanted visitors. Highly recommend and would buy again!

Ordered two receivers and one sensor. The sensor and a receiver worked perfectly. Good sensitivity with no false alarms. Easy walk to the basement for 100 meters. However, it was not possible to get the second receiver to connect to the sensor. I called the guards twice but they never answered. I then ordered a different receiver, which works perfectly. I like the system, but I'm not impressed with the company's support.

Access road less than 1/4 mile. One sensor (input), two receivers (home and business). I liked the product, it just wasn't reliable. After adjustments and moves (which seemed to help), he still wasn't picking up a person in his big old van. Sometimes one receiver warned and the other didn't. The beauty of these devices is that they are analog, so any receiver can be paired with multiple receivers. We have a big house and my office is in a separate building. So with multiple sensors and receivers, I can set up each receiver to give the same signal for each sensor and hear how far the car is from the driveway no matter where I am in our home or office. My only complaint is that there are very few viable short calls. Many of the chimes are banal and too long. I have 4 sensors leading…

Bought a Guardline entrance alarm in August. Just plugged in and worked like a charm. After about 4 months I decided to add an additional receiver. Couldn't connect it and called customer service who immediately told me to return it and order another one. I did, and when the second receiver didn't connect, I thought maybe I was doing something wrong. We have 2 of these sets in our possession. One for our house and one for our shop on the same property. The one by the house lets us know in one tone when someone walks through the front gate and in a different tone when they walk into the business part of the house. Very disappointed. Everything I've read showed that this brand is as good as it gets. We had an old version. Everything was fine - still didn't activate when vehicles passed it about 1/3 of the time. This one didn't stop at the end - kind of caught in an endless loop, there was nothing in the driveway.
