It's a bit powerful and makes a little noise which the dogs didn't like at first. Now they're used to it and seem to like it more!

Doesn't work great though. The bristles are very stiff and rough on my furniture. I was afraid the fabric might get caught. However. I use it on my husky and she loves it!

I used this to remove two dog hairs from a couch. Much better than a regular brush head - you don't have to constantly pull the dog's hair off the brush head. How well this works depends a lot on your vacuum suction and hose. It fits my Hoovwr WindTunnel Pet perfectly. My problem is that I need a longer hose to use it at a better angle and prevent it from falling off, but again that's a problem with the hose. My vacuum hose says it will go "up to" 12 feet, but you really have to strain the hose and it will try to bounce back, making it less than ideal for that.
