Bottle did not arrive as pictured. The bottle is best filled from below, it is cracked in the middle and very difficult to open. The quality of the parts was excellent but in a golf cart once filled with sand you will find it difficult to open

Product shows that the bottle holder can be screwed to the trolley with a screw. I order the bottle twice and came the same way, I need two screws to put it on the golf cart. The golf cart only had a hole for a bottle cage with a screw.

I never realized the hassle of filling these bottles until I had to add one to my personal golf cart. The bottom is unscrewed and, holding it upside down, pour sand on the bottom. Well it takes some skill to keep the sand from sloshing out of the open top! There must be a mechanism in the kit that closes the top hole when filling from below.

This bottle holder and bottle is a great purchase. The instructions weren't entirely accurate, but the installation was pretty easy. I had to drill a hole through the rear support; I would prefer a self tapping screw but that is personal preference. Also remember that this is a sand bucket filled with soil. The upper part cannot be unscrewed. In general I am very satisfied. Very durable construction.

Installation is simple and straightforward using a drill and basic hand tools. The quality is typical for this type of holder. As long as the bottle is functional, it will not be filled from below. I have had different types of bottles in my carts over the years and have found that my wife cannot fill this type of bottle. The top ties make removal difficult as many people fill the spout, which is time consuming.
