Description of πŸ”‘ 2+1 Buttons Flip Key Shell Case Fob for Honda Odyssey LX Ridgeline Accord Civic CR-V Pilot by Ezzy Auto

Modified the Honda Odyssey LX Ridgeline Accord CR-V Pilot Civic Fit key as the image. This item isn't a remote key, it's just a remote key shell. NO (remote/electronics/ignition or transponder chips). Pls cut the key blade, take the internal electronics (include immobilizer/transponder chip) from your original remote and place them to our key shell, then it is OK! There's no programming needed. Best replacement for broken or worn keys, or great for an additional key. Pls check the image carefully make sure your original key as same as the second image.

Great for my broken 2+1 folding key

Metal joint hub broke (split) on my original Honda 2+1 folding key. My family members are as rude as chimpanzees and always have been. If you want your things to break, give them to them. If you want it to be preserved, leave it to me. Oh. I ordered this hoping to save a lot of money and make a conversion. First, the key body is slightly larger than the OEM key. never mind I was able to knock the roll pin out of the new key and put part of the old key in the new key by slightly aligning/fitting

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Out of style

Works perfectly. Fit and finish could be better

Key worked great. I've heard that sometimes when using non-original flip-flop keys, the immobilizer chip in the key can be too far from the ignition, which can result in the immobilizer not working and you cannot start the car. In my case, the immobilizer works fine on my 2014 CR-Z. If that doesn't work for you, you can unsolder the immobilizer chip from the circuit board and place it in the small recess in the case. I had the key cut at a Honda dealer, they charged me $25. The ending is pretty

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Not the best

Great idea, bad execution.

I received the key from the seller very quickly. It arrived as described and appears to be a quality product, or at least a small step up from OEM. I called and found a locksmith to cut the key. (Many wouldn't cut it unless they bought from them, the Honda dealer cut it for $25 but didn't really want it) This locksmith also cut it for $25 but I've dealt with them before dealt with, which was a good thing. Before cutting, the locksmith warned me that while it might fit the door, many flip label…

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Something different
