The included tether broke immediately after I attached it to my phone and bike. Upon closer inspection, it turned out that the only thing securing the black nylon strap to the rope attached to the bolt was a simple knot at the end of the rope, going through the holes on either end of the strap!? I got this for a close friend and installed it and he loves it. It's so cool I want one for myself now. This is a VERY strong connection between a phone and a bike connection. So strong that sometimes you have to fight a bit to turn the phone off. The trick seems to be to twist the phone and pull it out.
