Cannot properly tighten stem faceplate and keep bracket straight

Repeated attempts at lubrication, holding levers in place and very careful assembly. Choice between properly tightened stem faceplate and direct mount. Sorry F3. Structural connections on my bike come first and are done right. I'm still looking for the perfect front mount for my Garmin.

Stylish design, frees up space on the steering wheel.

I now have this carrier on two bikes (Gravel and MTB). This makes it easy to see the computer while riding, and the ability to adjust the length of the arms allows you to conveniently mount it right on the front of the stem. Adjusting the arms to get an even mount can be a little tricky, but once you've locked it in, it's a great mount.

Expensive but works as it should.

Because the bezel width on the Lynskey stem is much wider than my previous 3T ARX II stem, this F3 mount was the only option that would fit my current rig to hold the Wahoo Roam up front . I've read some reviews where users complained that the levers rotate when tightened and tilt the CPU slightly. I haven't had this problem and it wasn't difficult to install and it actually seems pretty sturdy. Being able to move back and forth to where I wanted to place the processor is a nice plus for this…

Frustrating setup, return

This is a very innovative mount with a simple, flexible design. However, attempting to install was extremely frustrating, even with the "bridge tool". The final tightening broke the alignment of the levers every time, even with slowly increasing torque values for all bolts. I watched the installation video and followed it but no luck. While having two independent arms to support the workstand looks great, the fundamental problem with this design is maintaining the alignment of the arms and the…

  • Some difficulties

This product works well enough for a small computer. It takes a bit of work to get everything aligned, but when it's done everything works pretty well. I would only recommend this product for smaller computers and would not recommend adding a Go Pro accessory mount. Here are some of the problems I've encountered. I got tired of contacting F3 twice and got no response: Basic: 1.) I installed the GoPro camera/light component and adjusted the stand to the extreme position to fit my Garmin 1030. I…
