Bright colors and smooth but too heavy for Bible pages.

Very nice. I bought them with a bible magazine but they are a little heavy as they bleed a little. Not much, but enough that I don't use them often for this purpose. They are smooth and produce beautiful, rich colors.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Something different

Great Pens/Brushes - Pens

When I was looking for a set of these pastel pens/brushes I thought I'd expand my collection and get this basic set. It's a bit redundant to have two shades of yellow when maybe pink would be a good option? The pens/brushes are of good quality and I use them for shading as I'm not a draftsman and don't like to paint with them. Use them on a smooth surface ie seal the side otherwise they will soak into the paper.

Pros
  • Easy to read panel
Cons
  • Expensive Insurance

Strong colors, does not smear.

I use it for drawing on non-porous surfaces (painted with transparent varnish, draw, draw). I had a hard time finding a marker that didn't build up too much, had good colors, and didn't smudge until I could apply more polish to protect it. They work fine. The package is cheaper than buying just three colors at an art store. but some of these colors are not the ones i would choose. I would have preferred a selection of all primary colors. But I will buy it again.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Some difficulties

I depend heavily on Faber-Castel pens for my work

I'm a big fan of Faber-Castel PITT brushes and use them mostly for handwriting. I have a variety of different pen sizes, as well as other PITT sizes, and I'm slowly realizing that the PITT brand seems to be one of my favorites. Their application, precision and opacity are perfect for my work. Of course, as with everything about an artist, it's all about personal preference; But if you're looking for a good brand, you can't go wrong with this one.

Pros
  • Fits many

I really like these markers

I really like these markers, the colors are exactly what I want and the orange or yellowish color is more like gold which I haven't found in any other set of markers I own. I am a professional artist who publishes coloring books for adults; so lots of color. It is great. However, I would give them five stars if it weren't for the little marker. They are larger than the size of a bic pen than professional markers. This is probably just a personal preference and shouldn't stop you from purchasing

Pros
  • Handy wallet for all your drawing tools
Cons
  • Not sure

Extra-fine point and more make the perfect pens. You press lightly and you can do very fine detail, press a little more and you get broader lines. Because of this, all drawings will look more professional when working on your artwork due to the different line weights. Even better, it's waterproof once dry, so it stays in place no matter what happens to it. Even if you put matte gel media on it, no ink will leak out or have any trouble. Works flawlessly, smoothly and easily. It gives you…

Pros
  • Acid-free, pH-neutral pigment ink
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

There are better pens out there, but they come with a brush.

I love the black PITT artist pens with different nib sizes. I got them because I wanted to level up and add color to my work. They are of the same quality as the black packaging. i love it too My only gripe (and it's probably my fault for not reading the full description as I already know how much I love these pens) is that they are all brushes. I like the brush for some things, but it makes me nervous when painting in small spaces. But the brush seems pretty stiff, at least while it's new, so…

Pros
  • Ideal for drawing on the go
Cons
  • Requires a power outlet
