Suitable for porcelain stoneware

Not sure about durability (but looks good) as I've only used it on a shower head hole but it has worked very well on porcelain stoneware. I used a drill and a few squirts of water.

Pros
  • Diamond height 10mm, with hex shank
Cons
  • Minor details

Works much better than the competition

Renovating two porcelain tile bathrooms I needed to drill a few holes in the tile for glass top supports/fixtures. I went through four or five bits and spent a lot of time drilling through the first three panels. I bought these for the last panel and drilling is much quicker and easier. I drilled four holes with a drill and when I was done it was still in relatively good condition.

Pros
  • High quality diamond grit makes drilling quick and smooth
Cons
  • Expensive

Won't last forever but great quality for the price

they will wear out over time. Wax is actually amazingly useful and this brand doesn't wear out as quickly as others. I refuse to invest in expensive ones because they eventually wear out. I use them to poke holes in ceramic and concrete pots (IMHO there are never enough holes) and I've probably made over 15 holes with one and can still use it. . I don't mean cheap planters either, good thick pottery and some very thick cement, even coated pottery is no problem. It takes time and patience and…

Pros
  • Used for drilling in granite and marble, masonry, concrete, tile/ceramic, hard plastic etc.
Cons
  • I'll write back
