AWESOME Gloves!: Boxing Gloves

I've tried almost every brand in almost every size and loved the Fairtex 14 oz. the most convenient and cheapest. Also, they are not "bulky" like most gloves. My only advice is to use a slightly stronger material on the inside. They seem to tear easily after a while but so far these are fantastic gloves. The gloves are durable. I can punch the shit out of the bag and it protects my wrists (you must wrap your hands, of course) and ankles VERY well. I have Fairtex shin guards and they areโ€ฆ

Excellent gloves for other sports

First impression after 2 months of boxing mainly on the bag is very good. They feel comfortable and are made of high quality materials. I have found that they take a few weeks break-in period (8-12 hours) to break in. At first they felt a bit stiff and uncomfortable but now they feel great. Good balance between cushioning and locking. My first gloves were Titles, which looked like pillows in comparison (which also fell apart after two years). My only criticism is that the wrist cuff could haveโ€ฆ

Favorite pair of gloves

I've had boxing and muay thai gloves from so many different brands I can't even remember all the brands. It goes without saying that all top brands have different entry/quality points. I currently own and still own Venum, Ring to Cage, Twins, Everlast etc (all great brands). But these particular Fairtex gloves have proven to be my favorites in terms of comfort and price. I have 2 pairs of 16oz for sparring and pocket work. I take the same model for both because I want the exact same feel whenโ€ฆ

Great gloves great price love the sound they make

Love them with all my heart! I'm Female, 5.5, 128 lbs, medium sized hands for my height (for reference, my palm is about 8 inches. I usually wear small winter gloves). My trainer actually advised me to go for 10 ounces, but since they're notoriously a bit small (the seller says so himself), I bought 12. They're a bit loose without the bandages, but I still wear hand wraps (180). inch) so that the gloves sit perfectly on it. They stabilize the wrist and help position the fist properly on impact.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Some bugs

One of the best for boxing

I bought 16 oz black gloves to replace my Title Classic gloves which I used in kickboxing and then muay thai. Since I used to use boxing gloves and they started breaking, I wanted to switch to real Muay Thai gloves. Pros: These gloves are breathable and well ventilated. They're also very flexible, which comes in handy when you're in a clinch. The fit around my arm is good. They were pretty tight at first, but now that they've broken in, they're good. Cons: My previous gloves protected myโ€ฆ

The Only BGV1 Review You'll Ever Need!

READ BEFORE PURCHASING. I have seen several testimonials from people who have received counterfeit gloves. To make sure you are not buying a counterfeit, after choosing your size and colour, check this which says 'sold by a Fairtex official and made by Revain'. (Seller information will not appear until you have selected a size and color). Otherwise, you can buy from a third party and get fakes. I've heard good things about Fairtex for a while, but until recently I didn't need new gloves. I'veโ€ฆ
