Tight with hand bandages

Purchased military green F-Day BGV11. I understand that these gloves are snug but with bandages they quickly become uncomfortable. This caused a lot of pressure and added discomfort when working with the pouch. I hope this changes as the gloves break in and I will provide an updated review. Pros: These muay thai gloves offer ample padding on the wrist and back of the thumb. There are 7 vents (3 on the thumbs and 4 on the palm) to allow hands to breathe well. Syntex leather feels like a premium…

My favorite Fairtex gloves so far!

I have been practicing Muay Thai for 6 years and I am a glove collector. I collect, compare, review and sell gloves. I bought all the white Skyntex BGV14 16oz gloves. These gloves exceeded my expectations. I originally bought a pair of BGV9s but something happened in transit and they never made it to my house. I read that some compared these BGV14s to BGV9s, just like a synthetic version. I wanted Mexican style gloves for the price of a Mexican glove (Cleto Reyes, Gil etc). These gloves have…

very well made gloves - make sure you choose the right model for you

I have mixed feelings about the BGV-14. After hearing and reading many positive and rave reviews about the Fairtex gloves, I purchased these 16 ounce gloves for more protection for myself and if and when I get training partners. When looked at they look great: you will immediately understand why people like them. They also feel like they'll last forever: I haven't found any flaws and they seem to be as durable as can be. But for me, the comfort isn't great: my thumbs hurt from the first use and

This size is perfect it's not huge

Just received these today and have been using them for heavy padding and sparring. I've always wanted to use 16 oz. I didn't want a huge glove either. This size is perfect, not huge, even smaller than my 14oz topping. But I think my hands are a bit small for 16 ounces. There wasn't much space, but once I got my hands on it, everything was fine. Best-in-class weight distribution. I really feel the difference when I pedal. I'm using the Top King Super Air Gold Star and I can feel my arms swinging

Great quality all round but style will vary.

This is my third pair of Fairtex gloves. The first two BGV5 models I want to comment on first. The red 16oz BGV5 was purchased in September 2015. for sparring, pads and bag per year, on average 5 times per week. I used multiple bags of miso to keep them from getting rough inside during this time. Another year with these gloves and now they have started cracking/opening around the wrist. The wrist support was and still is great, with just enough room in the hand not to feel cramped and not…
