Great for my new TV antenna

I used one of these to make my own TV antenna out of cardboard and aluminum foil. It works great and I get more channels than the $50 antenna I bought.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Does the Job - Audio & Video Accessories

Slightly cursory comparison of some transformers I have but does the job and is worth the price. Be careful not to be moved by the wind, otherwise it will break in a few days.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Works as advertised.

I used to throw this type of connector away thinking I'd never need it. Then I decided to hook up my FM receiver. Oops. Incorrect antenna connection. Problem solved with this device.

Pros
  • High marks for tester support and durability
Cons
  • Some shortcomings

Exactly what I was looking for

They have worked great on my antenna projects. They are not permanent - you have to be careful with any version of them. This is to relieve wiring (my antennas are framed in wood and used in the attic). There are many other ways to secure it if your antenna is outdoors. Good luck with your project.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Weak wires, Y connector

Wires and their insulation are less reliable than the old American ones. Y-shaped connectors are also very thin. These imperfections do not necessarily affect the performance of the product, only its strength/durability, especially when used outside of a TV antenna. I used it on a friend's outdoor antenna but put it in a protective case and also wrapped it well with electrical tape so the wind doesn't fatigue the wires or connectors.

Pros
  • a good thing
Cons
  • Upgradable

Exactly what I needed!

For a moment I was very concerned that these adapters were just not made anymore. Thank goodness someone still makes them and they're just as good (if not better) than the old ones that used to come from Radio Shack. Adapters like these are essential for anyone wanting to connect their vintage Texas Instruments (TI-99 series) computers to any type of TV or monitor without connecting an antenna, and I can attest that they're great for the job . To top it off, they look amazing!

Pros
  • Ease of Installation
Cons
  • Compatibility

75 Ohm to 300 Ohm UHF/VHF/FM Matching Transformer Adapter

Am completely happy with it, I had an antenna in the attic with very poor reception, I could only get 1/2 of my local channels and most other channels are pixelated. My old adapter I was using was old and rotted to the point where the plastic covering the wires cracked and fell off. I turned that on and now I have all my local channels with no pixelation and over 50 other channels. It worked great and the price was right

Pros
  • Inspires Confidence
Cons
  • Out of fashion
