When I first saw this item I thought it was flimsy. But other good reviews convinced me and I bought it two months ago. Now after using it a lot I have to say that this really is the easiest to use and most effective bubble stopper I have ever come across. Much easier to attach and less prone to auto-drops than the two vertical hinged clips that you squeeze together to grab the neck of the bottle. These also have a rubber ring that will deteriorate and break over time. You won't be disappointed

The best champagne stopper, but be prepared to buy one every year if you use it frequently. I bought a couple of these because I like that they have a clip that holds the cork more securely than the ones you use in the store. Which is important when traveling in the van as it gets bumpy and I don't want a champagne cork popping in the fridge while driving. Best champagne cork I have ever used when new. I buy the first one on 01.01.2018. I drink a glass of sparkling wine almost every evening. Can't say enough good things about it. I love champagne and don't need a special occasion to drink some champagne. I could have it every day if my wallet allows it. I will have a case on hand but as I'm the only one in my house who likes it I'll have to wait as they only drink on special occasions and don't want to empty the bottle or drink the whole bottle.
