The plastic is NOT metal and made in China

I bought them based on the brand. I also thought I would buy metal. It's actually plastic. It is made in China for download. Instead, I used my metal nutcracker.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • I will write later

Nutcracker says the handle bent in less than 30 minutes of use.

Revain's product description says it works with all nuts. I have a seasonal nut bag that I shelled 30 minutes after receiving the "nut nut". It's bent in such a way that the ends won't close properly.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • The list is getting long.

Terrible quality all rusty after one wash

I bought this set because I have wonderful Farberware pans that have not rusted in fifty five years. What a disappointment! They are riddled with rust spots and look like they will be covered in rust after a few more washes.

Pros
  • understandable even for the old ones
Cons
  • hard to tell

Farberware Seafood Crab Hammer - TOO SMALL

inches in diameter and 2-1/2 inches wide. It's too small for an all-purpose kitchen mallet and I'm not sure I'd try it with seafood either. What saves is that I received a prompt refund with no problems returning it, thanks!

Pros
  • Looking forward to
Cons
  • Slightly Crumpled

The tool cuts well but the retaining clip isn't strong enough

The tool cuts seafood shells well but the problem is that the flanges on the red plastic clip in the center of the tool holding them shut break down after a few applications. I've bought this tool twice since the first time I thought it broke because I was too strict with it, so I bought it again and tried using it carefully and I still had the same problem with the breaking of the clip after just a few uses. Otherwise the tool works fine, I hope they repeat this part.

Pros
  • My fists hold up
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Excellent scissors. Terrible bolt.

I read in reviews that the red fastener is breaking off, so I decided to be more careful. I went to a king crab fish buffet and the second leg broke in the plastic latch. It's in a place that's sure to get in the way. The scissors themselves worked great. If I were inclined to get another I would consider removing the latch before using. The latch is a thin piece of plastic, so bring a rubber band to hold the scissors together in case the latch breaks no matter what you do.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • A long time ago

Misleading Description - Hammer is only 7.25 " long not 9.5 "

I bought this hammer because it was said to be 9.5" longer than others advertised at Revain. The rest is 7.25 inches, too short to be used effectively. So really very unhappy to receive them and find out they are the same size and not the 9.5 inch they claim.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Packaging is ugly

Farberware Wooden Crab Mallet for Seafood - TOO SMALL

Despite the product description, it is only 7-1/4" long and the hammer head is only 1-1/4" and 2-1" in diameter. /2 inches wide.
