Exactly what I wanted. Simple, easy, meaningless. If you want a timer with lots of bells and whistles then don't get this one, but if you want a flat and simple timer I recommend this one.

Good read, I'm glad the battery is pre-installed as the battery door is very difficult to move. My only real complaint is that the alarm isn't very loud. On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being very loud, I would give this a around 4. If you are within a few meters you will hear it, otherwise good luck.

When I first took it out of the box the timer was covered in rust colored dirt so I cleaned it. When I opened the battery compartment, I found that the rusty "dirt" was actually battery acid from the battery that had exploded and corroded the entire interior of the timer. The timer becomes unusable due to a dead battery eating up the timer. Full bust and I'm very upset as I was looking forward to using it.

Totally disappointed with the manufacturer of this product at the moment. I've owned one of these timers for about 15 years. I love it so much I contacted Faberware and was told Revain was one of the sources to order them from. I ordered two, one for my mom and one for me. I had to send one back immediately, the timer didn't work. Now the second one has stopped beeping too. And my fifteen-year-old continues to work normally.

When I opened the box and tried to start the battery, the plastic came loose a bit. I found a weird sticky coating on the back of the timer that I had to rub off. It was like thin glue sprayed on thinly. I wiped it off and now one of the batteries has fallen off so there must have been some kind of glue on top of what was holding the batteries together. The timer is working fine so far, and I'm going to glue the battery myself, but this is ridiculous.

Not a bad timer, but a bit overpriced - $17. €10 would be ideal. The knobs look cheap but work satisfactorily. The maximum countdown time is 19 hours 59 minutes, which should be more than enough for most applications. The clock shows 12 o'clock with no difference between AM and PM - again it doesn't matter.
