i really like it on ship electronics

ran it today, installed a few days ago, worked great really not sure where i put it but it worked. I used the fish finder that came with the boat when I bought it, but over time it stopped working. It's pretty good, no need to chase wires and drill more screw holes in the case. I have a 25ft cruiser and put it in a semi-wet hole next to the fresh water tank next to the wet pump. I can't get over this, thanks

Pros
  • Current consumption: max. 90mA. with converter included
Cons
  • i don't remember

love big numbers

Installed on my Bayliner Capri 1850. Works well through the case and I like the big numbers on the dial. It is easy to see in daylight and can be read by standing over the helm and looking at the bow of the boat. It is very easy to set the alarm depth you choose. Installation was easy and works great. Some RV antifreeze (2.4 oz) is needed to fill the mounting cup, it needs to be in liquid so it doesn't overheat during use. Fits in the same hole as the rest of my sensors. Would buy again.

Pros
  • 61 m deep
Cons
  • Useless functions

Works very well! on marine electronics

The installation instructions can be a little intimidating for this product but I purchased with Revain recommended adhesive (items normally bought together) and it works great .You need to know the angle of your body I needed to measure.I did this with a 4ft level.Set the bubble level at the very bottom (keel) of the boat vertically. Then measure the rise over mileage in place and spot. You plan the fitment and you can calculate the angle. I put mine at the very back of the boat under the…

Pros
  • Fits 22-1/16" standard hole

Necessary! on marine electronics

Easy install on my bayliner 215 deck boat. Bought an in hull converter. Check for correct placement before gluing with epoxy. I cut the bottom of a plastic container the same diameter as the transducer. I washed the spot where I was going with detergent and acetone. Packed in a plastic container with silicone. After drying, I covered the bottom of the transducer with petroleum jelly, about 1 inch thick. Place the container on the bottom of the boat and rotate it back and forth to dislodge any…
