Love this product! Someone broke my previous butter dish so I really debated what I wanted. I tried the butter bell and it kept molding so was on the hunt again. The wood lid feels like butter (no pun intended!). Also included in this nicely boxed butter dish was a personal thank you note from the owners! My husband and I own a small family based business so I love being able to support one another. Hopefully no one breaks this one or I will order another!

Beautiful product. I like having spreadable butter that isn't kept in the refrigerator.The top is wood and not sealed well. Ours swelled and split the first time it was washed.I would have liked a gasket or seal around the top as well to help keep the butter safer.

My son likes stick butter, and the last butter dish we had a while back broke, so he was using a small plate with a bowl over the top. Kind of redneck. lol. I found this cute country style butter dish here, and had to get it for him! We love the design, and how it looks on the counter. It holds 2 sticks, but isn't too big or too small. We highly recommend for use, and for looks. It's the best butter dish we've ever had, and the cutest I've ever seen, too!

This is an adorable butter dish! It holds two sticks of butter perfectly. It looks great in my cottage styled kitchen, alongside other vintage pieces. The only reason for not giving it a 5 star rating is because it says it has a "tight” fitting lid, so I thought it would have a rubber seal around the part of the lid that goes inside the jar opening. But, for me and the way I use butter, I like that I can remove the lid with one hand, as opposed to needing both hands to remove the top.

This is perfect for the European size cubes of butter and for my home where I don't have central air because the melting butter stays in the container. Looks great on the counter top

I have never purchased something like this before, but it is really perfect. The item showed up in perfect condition. The item was exactly like pictured and described. Its just one of those nice things to have in your kitchen that makes it feels more like a home. Also, the thank you letter from the owners is just one of those nice touches that the world needs more of. Would recommend to anyone.

This butter dish is adorable. It is as nice as I hoped to would be. It is a great value and quality. I will get an additional one for flavored butters that we create sometimes. I also liked that the maker put a thank you card in the box. That personal touch is very nice.

This butter dish, far exceeded my expectations! When you look at a picture, and think, oh, that's cute, and then it arrives, and you're in love! It's simplicity, stands out! It would work well in any kitchen. My favorite part, is that it's not your "traditional" butter dish. The top doesn't get all coated in butter, the butter stays in the deep well. I can't recommend this enough.

It's an okay butter dish but I was really hoping it had a better seal. It doesn't have a seal at all nor does the lid fit well. I bought it because the lid sits on the dish top of the dish fully covering the butter dish itself. Traditional butter dishes sit over the butter and on the butter tray which allows food, liquid, dust particles, etc. to collect around the lid onto the exposed sides of the butter tray. love the butter dish. just don't pick it up only by the lid. too easy to not put lid on tightly. i do not use the butter dish with water, but my butter is still soft enough in the morning to spread on toast. later in the day, it is softer than just being on the counter by itself.
