This looked like a decent replacement for a handle that had failed over time. Old shower so I didn't have a model number. I didn't even have to open the packaging - when I received the back of the new pen and examined it, I knew immediately it wouldn't fit. A better description and photo of the back of the unit from the seller regarding installation would have saved me time and restocking/return shipping fees.

I am very disappointed with this product. I can't even rate this product and if I don't need it or can't find the right hardware to attach it to my soul I'm returning this product. This item comes without hardware and without the hot/cold button on the front of the handle as shown in the picture. In other words, the parts are missing. This is absolutely ridiculous.

This is an excellent replacement grip. However, if you want to be happy with it, you need to make sure it's the right choice. Remove your current grip and look at the back. If the hole on the back is diamond-shaped and not in the center, that's the correct grip. If the hole on the back is hexagonal or otherwise, keep looking until you find the right handle for your faucet.

So for looks EZ install following good instructions Cons: You need to keep it clean of soap as soap gets into the plastic this handle is made of,, , hop on it a hard surface can cause damage, will disappear if left with soap, about 3 years if not cleaned frequently. Not glass but can break, the Center Delta logo can be easily torn off, not easy to stick on not bad, but be careful!

I have a triangular handle in the bath and sink. I figured I'd order that and it would definitely go with one or the other. If you refer to Don2737's review, rest assured that you are getting the right one. However, when I removed my old knob, there was a hex cap on the stem. I thought it was wrong and threw it aside. A few days later, it occurred to me that the curse might be released, and lo and behold, it happened. After that it fit perfectly.

We recently attempted to purchase a replacement stylus grip at our local Ace hardware store. Ace's replacement was similar to this one. It was a Delta brand and had the right configuration. It was also made in China and lasted a month and two days before breaking. I am very happy to find a genuine Delta part that exactly matches the old part I am replacing.

It worked fine. Thought I'd add my review as there is some confusion as to what is appropriate. I'm adding some closeups of the inside of the handle as it slides over the brass shaft. Some said it was a hexagon but it is not, it is a four sided diamond or diamond, see photo. Also, the hole that the shaft attaches to is NOT centered but offset, again see photo.
