This must be provided for by local building codes and regulations.

As I got older, I started thinking about protecting my home from accidents. In my research on bathroom accidents, I learned that more than 60% of emergency room visits for falls in the bathroom are between the ages of 16 and 40. They should be mandatory for every new build. As far as certain Moen products go, in my opinion they are the best of the best. They look and feel great. The hardened surface provides a secure grip and the attachment design is excellent. Once installed they are easy to…

Easy Installation, Reliable Feeling, Famous Name

Recently, after an accident in the family, the bathroom needed a quick replacement. These bars, from Moen among others, are perfect for my needs. Installation directly into the bolt is very easy with just a drill and the appropriate bits. The bar feels both solid and aesthetically pleasing. Good product that works

I installed 4 bars of different lengths in 2 different tubs. I prefer Peened Grip and use Moen SecureMounts. The only issues I had were with the flanged caps on the ends. The solution is to play around with them a bit to make them fit. I suggest watching numerous instructional videos to understand the process before purchasing handrails. (Some videos are on the Moen Home Care website). If you are using safety mounts, I recommend using a Milwaukee 1-1/4 diamond hole saw and a retractable diamond

The best handrail I have seen and felt is a sanded one.

Very nice color and feel, better than what I have seen in a doctor's office or spa. The hardened feel definitely gives more grip and doesn't hurt when your hands are wet like some that have a crosshatch pattern. They also have screw caps unlike the Invicare brand which is available for twice the price from medical supply stores/Medicaid. Be sure to buy better quality screws like the ones I used #10 x 2-1/2" sheet metal pan head screws. 25 pack Also be sure to use a diamond hole drill such as…
