This is the best mushroom sliver we’ve ever used. Very easy to slice through and clean cuts. So much faster than using a wire slicer also. Don’t have the issues of wires moving and not lining up because it’s metal blades. Works well for hard boiled eggs also. Easy to clean and will be used for a long time.

I use this item for mushrooms, olives and hard boiled eggs. It saves me so much time in meal prep. A bit awkward in that you have to flip it before cutting so the pieces fall into your bowl or pan. Otherwise they fly over your prep surface. I do, however, recommend this item.

This is really nice to use. I am only using it for eggs at this point but it may slice fruit like bananas. So far it just rinses off and I haven't had a problem with the egg sticking to it. My old one worked well then the wires started to get loose then they broke. I think cutting the eggs with a knife worked better. I would recommend this egg slicer for ease of working and I think it will last a lot longer than my last one.

We mainly use this for black olives because it's cheaper to buy whole and slice them ourselves. The "saw blades" are much sturdier than guitar strings.

The slicer is sturdy enough to provide beautifully sliced eggs, or double slice for egg salad. I like that it is spring loaded and that it has a lock I highly recommend this product.

I am not impressed with this egg slicer. Used xl eggs, when slicing the left and right ends of the egg fell off onto my counter. Also the slicer did not pop up right away I had to clean the bottom part of slicer before the top would pop up. Maybe this works well with eggs that are not XL.I would not recommend this

I was dubious about this product at first, but I really like it. It takes a tiny bit of getting used to from a traditional egg slicer, but worth the small adjustment. It powers through anything you would put in a traditional egg slicer; mushrooms, olives, etc. I bought it because I was tired of the wires busting on my old egg slicers. To clean, I just rinse it and put it on the top rack of my dishwasher. To hand wash, it's easy if you keep some kind of typical dishwashing bristle scrubber…

This product is definitely sturdy enough to handle fruits, softer vegetables, eggs etc. more so than the standard wire egg slicer.

This is one of my favorite kitchen items I own! I use it to slice boiled eggs, strawberries, and blueberries. It does a great job! Rinsing it off right after using it is a good practice to have, but it can also be put in the dishwasher. I highly recommend getting this!

After breaking the wires on my umpteenth egg slicer the other day (while slicing mushrooms) I decided to give this a try. I'm ranking it right up there with my Vidalia chopper that I've had forever. It's sturdy, easy to clean and I made a mean Cobb salad. Eggs and tomatoes sliced perfectly. Can't wait to try mushrooms and strawberries.

I use this slicer for slicing strawberries in bulk for my dehydrator. The slicers that use wires did not hold up, failing after only a few pounds sliced, and it takes forever to use a knife.
