Pay attention to the description!

Pay attention to the description when buying this article. The only reason for my bad rating is that I couldn't use it. "Do not use on cleaned floors" - that's what it says. And if you're anything like me, you have no idea what that means. I ignored this and bought this to fix cracks in my laminate floor but as my floors are textured and grooved the vacuum didn't work. This product is intended for smooth surfaces only. I kept it in case I need it for something else, but I had to buy another…

  • Tools and household goods
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Beautiful and inexpensive - a great combination!

Bought to correct laminate fins that had come loose (somewhat mysteriously after it had been fine for more than four years). My floor doesn't have a perfectly flat surface (small but noticeable "ripples" in the texture of the floor to make it look more natural), but the suction cups grab and hold. Easy to use - still holds on even when the suction cups get a little dirty from the floor. I didn't need a rubber mallet, but other suction cups were about the same price and had lower reviews, so…

  • Power and hand tools
Cons
  • Expensive

Very easy to use good for hammers

I'll admit I was a little skeptical about how well this would work, but I had tears in the laminate and didn't want to rip it out. So I bet less than $20 and gave it a try. There weren't enough instructions, but it's really nothing special. After researching the questions and providing prior feedback on the tips (I ended up wetting the suction cups but not sure if that was necessary), I firmly placed the suction cups on the board with the most visible gap, pressed firmly and then gave Tool a…

Works best on power tools and hand tools

We installed new laminate in the kitchen, hallway and half bathroom last year. My heart broke when I saw a small gap between two pieces of laminate in the kitchen. After learning how to repair, we found that we could buy tools to do the repair ourselves and decided to give it a try. There were no instructions for the items, but luckily this is a pretty understandable tool. I couldn't hit the hammer hard enough to create movement but my husband was able to and luckily the part came back in…
