Durable and worth every penny.

Great product. I've had it for about a month now and my Doberman is very comfortable in it. He has a good grip when I have to lead and guide him. Strong clip when I need to tie it to a leash. Overall this was a great purchase and I would recommend it to anyone.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Not strong enough to handle a German Shepherd puppy

I just received this collar yesterday and it's already useless. I have a German Shepherd who is almost 1 year old and when I was taking her for a walk she got too strong and pulled and broke the metal clip that the leash is attached to. Now that clip is broken and I have no way of taking it for a walk or taking it outside.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Great collar best in basic collars

This collar is perfect for my Mastiff/Pyrenean Dog. It weighs over 100 pounds and can pull like a steam locomotive. Many reviews say that the metal part to which the leash is attached breaks easily. i understand why It's a very thin metal but my Max is trained not to pull as hard and if it breaks I replace it with a D-ring so no big deal.

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • Faulty

Fits my stubborn dog! Oooh!

This collar is perfect! My Rottweiler is 1 year old, weighs about 120lbs, I am size XXL with room to grow. The grip is great for control. I always use a choke collar on the leash because his head can pop out of a regular collar. (Every collar I've had can slip out, his head is smaller than his neck. It's not the collar's fault) Very durable. No complaints

Pros
  • Top marks for fit and durability from testers
Cons
  • Requires outlet

A GOOD PRODUCT! fits plain collars

Strong, well-made collar for dogs. The metal leash clip looks ok, they have been replaced with old plastic metal but if you have a large or medium sized aggressive dog that pulls a lot or sheds I would replace the leash clip with a D ring or round thick key ring from the hardware store, around 100 % to be safe and have a good soul. Alternatively, you can attach the leash to the top handle of the collar. This collar will last a very long time. I will be buying another one for my other dog soon!

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Perfect for my boy who wears collars

We love this collar. I only gave it 2 stars for the stretch because it doesn't really stretch which is great because if that happened my smart boy would be insane and he would be lost like sooooo many collars before him. I like to have a pen with me when we go out into the yard and someone comes by. My boy is barking, and while he doesn't hunt, people are more comfortable when I hold him, so the easy-to-grip handle is very comfortable. It is also well positioned in relation to the leash. I was…

Neat but not worth the price

Overall I am very disappointed with this collar. The dog I bought it for is a German Shepherd and Great Dane mix. The collar suits him well, though not as well as I thought. But my problem isn't with looks. My problem is that he wears a collar. There seems to be some concessions in the material where there shouldn't be. If I put it on tight enough that it can't shake off, then it's too tight. I can't get my fingers under it and it crashes into his fur, leaving a trail. If I loosen it at all, it

Big, tough and military. Measure carefully, they are large.

As other reviewers have noted, this is a very durable dog collar. Materials and construction meet MIL-SPEC requirements. Materials: heavy nylon and high-impact molded plastic. The seams are heavy and the overall feel is very stiff. I'm not sure about the grip yet, but it certainly won't hurt. However, I have a few problems: Firstly, there is a small triangular attachment point for the leash. It's flimsy and plasticky and I expect it to fail. Not because of the stress of overusing the leash, but
