I received this after getting frustrated with every USB WiFi adapter I've tried (3 in total) disconnecting randomly on Windows 10, even after all Power saving options have been disconnected. No unexpected shutdowns with this indoor unit after 2 months, would definitely recommend.

Installed on an HP Z420 Desktop computer running Windows 10 Pro. Replaced the USB stick which was a complete disaster. Remove the lid, insert it into the desired slot and close the lid (maximum 10 minutes). I am NOT a PC builder. That's easy. I plugged it in, turned on the computer and it worked. Required no installation CDs. Simply flat works right out of the box. I will check speed tomorrow. Exactly what I need.

Installing the card was difficult as I had never done it before. I had to replace the long back plate with the included short plate for my small form factor PC. Then the connector on the board was narrower than the PCI-E slot on the motherboard, so it wasn't a direct 1-to-1 connection. For the Linux/Ubuntu community I am using this card with both versions above. At the moment I'm only using G support, so I have no comment on the other areas that are currently supported. I have a dual boot system with many operating systems and can confirm support for Windows 10 using the DVD that came with it.

Want an inexpensive yet reliable and fast Wi-Fi option for your desktop computer? They probably won't do any better. Don't go the USB route, it will only disappoint you. Note; I had to download the drivers before this worked for me. So make sure you can somehow download them to your computer. Whether it's a different connection, or downloading it to a flash drive from somewhere else, etc. I believe it comes with a driver CD, but I don't think many people have floppy drives anymore.

I bought this because my desktop PC, which used to be next to the cable modem, is now in a different room and so using a hard ethernet cable was not possible. Installation took 5 minutes including opening the desktop case. I found a free PCI Express slot and used it.
