Faulty Automotive Gasket Set Disappoints

This gasket set didn't cut it for my automotive needs. The materials used were subpar, leading to a shoddy fit and ultimately a leaky engine. The set didn't meet my performance expectations, leaving much to be desired.

Pros
  • None
Cons
  • Faulty materials and shoddy fit.

Not designed for all Pontiac V8

Not necessarily suitable for early engines like 389, front cover, thermostat and intake manifold gaskets were incorrect and had to be sourced elsewhere

Pros
  • Unbeatable quality you can trust
Cons
  • Expensive

Very complete and fits perfectly. I had to put longer screws.

Complete and perfect fit. I had to put longer bolts in the valve cover because the Fel-Pro valve cover gasket is so thick, which is a good thing. I've driven over 1000 miles on a rebuilt engine and not a single leak on my Pontiac 400 cid. I didn't use a rear main seal, I used a Viton seal.

Pros
  • Designed for seal repairs
Cons
  • Small parts
