Much cheaper and more convenient to make small gaskets for BSA motorcycles, oil tanks, valves etc. This is ideal. For trickier pads I buy precut ones for a better fit but so far the bike seems oil tight where I put it.

I don't know why but I expected more from each type. I had to go back and read the ad again and I basically got what was advertised. So order 2 or more sets of these if you need more than 1 of each material. Haven't used this material as a liner yet so can't comment on that but they appear to be high quality materials.

I made a pair of 1/8 nozzle washers on my Justrite 5 gallon safety can that attaches to the can. I was supposed to have 1/8th thick material and use a gasket punch. I used a 3/4 hole punch but I needed a 7/8" hole so I used a Hitachi rotary tool (same as a Dremel but variable speed) with a bit to punch the hole in Wood or metal can be enlarged . 1/8 material is durable.

I bought this to try as a potential laser cutting/engraving material after hearing that cork and rubber work well. However, it doesn't work particularly well, which I probably should have guessed: the materials will break down and probably give off terrible fumes. This review will undoubtedly be completely useless to 99.9% of people, but I'm posting this just in case there's another laser out there.
