Does the job: Replacement parts

Used on my 2007 Mustang thermostat housing, does the job as intended. and currently less than $3 on Amazon, what are you waiting for.

Was it the right part?

larger in diameter than the original - the case had to be used after dismantling. After 2 days there is no leak, but the thermostat housing is unreliable - time will tell.

2002 Ford Explorer Thermostat O-Ring

Seems to be a bit larger but I was able to slide it over the thermostat and no leaks. FordExplorer 2002. Edit: I went back and compared it to the original once it had a chance to loosen, same size so it went back to 5 stars.
