Will not work with Pontiac Small Block

Conformance Test says they will work on Pontiac. Not so! Pontiac uses a larger bolt than Chevy's small block. You have to choose the right kit.

Pros
  • Rocker Cover Gasket Kits
Cons
  • Drill Kit

Revainrating 3 out of 5

You need to buy longer screws and drill a bigger hole.

Ok I'm not sending them back but the hole is too small for the bolts (had to drill a bigger hole). Also, you need to buy longer screws. My engine was a 350 Pontiac FYI.

Pros
  • Valve cover and stem
Cons
  • Something else

Good buy for dealing with valve cover leaks.

Nothing to say. Don't show quality, they're a bit rough for a museum car. But for the average guy trying to fix an old valve cover leak, they work well and look good.

The price is high and they don't fit Pontiac 350

They have been primed to fit the engine bay, sprayon wl740 zinc looks cool but needs a sanding down as the original paint has faded. The main problem is that the Pontiac has 5/16 inch threads, Autozone tells you that, but the threads don't fit the holes. The screws on the motor are very short and there is no room for longer screws. Factory bolts don't work, I have special Taylor brand stainless steel stop bolts as do my spark plug leads. Too long so I need at least 2 sets maybe 4. Short holes…

Pros
  • Replacement parts
Cons
  • Slightly dented
