Garbage Timing Cover Ruins Engine

This timing cover is a complete waste of money .It doesn't hold up under normal automotive wear and tear, leading to engine damage. The only pro is that it looks flashy, but that doesn`t do anything for performance. The cons are numerous - it's a low-quality gasket that doesn't last, it's not worth the money, and it causes more problems than it solves. Stay far away from this cover if you value your car's performance..

Waste of money, best for spares

This gasket kit is a waste of money. Use an RTV tube if you need a cheap solution. Otherwise, buy a new cap as recommended. I tried to ignore the plastic timing case cover "replace assembly after removal" when ordering this gasket kit. After removing and cleaning the old cover I found cracks around the oil pan flange, broken plastic dowel pins and torn rubber bushings on each of the mounting bolts (I couldn't find these bushings in stock).
