🔧 Fey 97200 Direct Fit Mounting Kit for Fey DiamondStep & SureStep Universal Bumpers (Bumper Not Included) Review

This bracket fits the Universal 66000 bumper and the trucks listed. As pictured, it did not fit the Nissan Frontier frame.

I received these brackets after receiving the bumper and realizing they are needed to mount the bumper. I have a '93 GMC Sonoma and they matched the pre-drilled hole almost perfectly.

Could have re-drilled and used the OE brackets. These mounts are strong but oe is better and may be considered if a trailer is to be towed. The bumper itself fit better than I thought.

On my 2000 Isuzu Hombre (like the Chevy S10) this worked fine and the screws are of excellent quality. They have even been given an anti-corrosion coating. Recommended if you're buying the bumper it's designed for.

Sold as a perfect fit for my 92 Ranger I bought these brackets after fitting them to the rear. They fit the truck perfectly, but don't even come close to the original bumper. I wish I knew I had to buy a new bumper too. It would have saved me 10 days or so.

My S10 came with a chrome stepped bumper of unknown origin, mounted with some twitchy, VERY long brackets ("universal" I think?). I took these things off and put these Fey 97200s on. The bumper came up great. High quality brackets and many high quality mounting hardware. Now I can confidently tow a small trailer. Thanks very much!

A bracket must be purchased to mount the Fey bumper. The hole pattern matches the three holes near the ends of the bed/bumper support rails. They didn't reach the inner hole like standard mounts. The bracket screws were 7/16" holes were 1/2", I used the original 1/2" screws on the side of the bed and 7/16" screws on the end of the bumper. Otherwise everything was fine. The bracket is sold for both S-10 and Ford Ranger. The only difference is the size of the screw. So maybe I had the wrong…
