Description of Fieldpiece RCT2 Extension Probe Tip

Molex Probe Tips. A lot of techs refer to these as 'Molex' test leads because of the connectors they measure. They come as a component of the ADK7 Deluxe Silicone Lead Kit.

Very useful when working with electrical

Excellent for troubleshooting oven control panels, all electrical applications where space is limited. Be careful though, the rubber coating on the wires wears out easily and you have to be careful where you put them.

Pros
  • Tough finish
Cons
  • Durable

Product belongs to manufacturer

Fieldpeice does not follow any industry standard for its accessories. So I unknowingly bought this item thinking it would be compatible with Southwire brand gauges and cables.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Some errors

Does not work with standard lines!

I really wanted to use it. I like the compact size with the needle probes but am very disappointed that they are 4mm banana males. So if you use a Fluke or Pamona or any other wires I've seen they won't work as those accessories are all female. I would really like to find them with a standard 4mm banana plug.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Empty

Excellent needle probes!

These probes are very good, I use them all the time with my Fieldpiece SC660. The two probes are placed in the supplied vertical inner pocket of the flow meter and will not fall out. The length and diameter of the probes are ideal for penetrating wire connectors and the sharp/thin tip is useful for probing defrost board connections. Be careful though, they easily disappear in your fingers when you rampage. The sensor rods are a little flimsy and will bend, which isn't necessarily a bad thing…

Pros
  • This is amazing
