Replaces my set of 3

As I rarely use my smallest or largest chain, and only then out of curiosity, I decided to simplify my life and switch to a single chain. I was able to remove two chainrings, the front and rear derailleur and use this chainring for a net 26 ounce weight loss. Maintaining cleanliness in the carriage area is also considerably simplified. The new chainring is flat, light, comes with the right screws and spacers and runs straight and precisely. to remove the right crank to remove the smallest…

Better than similar RaceFace

Super good surface quality compared to a RaceFace star that was cheaply machined, also it comes with hardware and is $19 cheaper. Triple win for me. It also keeps the square tooth profile like the original SRAM chainrings, which RaceFace avoids for some reason. Unlike SRAM chainrings, it features integrated coils, so you only have one mount on each leg instead of two that clamp on each side. Seems to work fine and is a simpler design. It also has a slight 2mm offset that allows the chain to…

Very happy with the purchase

First of all I did not use chainrings from other brands but read reviews and looked at prices. I didn't want to pay for the cheapest or the most expensive. Fifty Fifty was the middle of the road chainring, comes in multiple colors and looks pretty cool (very important). Installation was easy and came with hardware. I noticed a chain noise but soon ran after a few hand turns and now it's very quiet. I liked it so much that I bought a second Fifty Fifty chain. The drivetrain I currently run is a…

1x rebuild - parts and components

Did a cheap 1x9 rebuild on an old bike. Banishing Jamis 2. This works great. I left the stock rear mechanism, shortened the chain and put it on. No dropped chains after 5 miles on soft trails. I will go on for many more miles. The strength of this ring is the fact that I didn't need any tools to install the chain. It only took a tool (or a wide screwdriver) to remove the chainring. If this information is in the product description, I missed it. The included star screws have tabs that snap into…

CHEAP stars. Serious?

Bought a red 32 tooth sprocket. The ChainRing is 0.5mm thicker than another cheap ring I've bought in the past and has only done about 300 XC miles. However, I am not at all happy that this chain was advertised with aluminum chainring bolts. They are very thin-walled aluminum. Serious. The directions say cranks up to 12nm. I did the first one and the gasket on the bolt ripped. So the front sprocket looks nice, but I'm knocking down the rating for the cheap screws. UPDATE: 10/31/21 I still like…
