I hate writing bad reviews. But this hose is not a very good hose. It is soft and can be squeezed with fingers. As a result, it bends and blocks the gas supply. I found it inappropriate.

This hose is not designed for use with petrol. Gasoline eats it up, only diesel works well. It was advertised as a 12ft tube but came as a 20ft tube. It lasted about a year on my gas tank and I had to replace it.

I also bought a sprinkler pump to pump water out of a flooded area. The hose connection worked without an adapter! I used some teflon tape to make the connection tighter but then it worked.

I have been using this hose for a year not a single spark so as far as safe material for use with petrol or diesel there are no cracks in the hose it is a little stiff but it's not a problem, I wouldn't buy it again, I've had it for over a year now and it's still working

I got a little tired of regularly changing hoses on my tanks and reminded myself that I have a Fill-Rite hose with a swivel on both ends that has lasted over 15 years, ie I bought a 20 foot hose that didn't meet the UL requirements. hose and two swivels. Was surprised to see that the Fill-Rite hose appeared to be made from the same thin rubber that flexed easily and quickly broke on the cheap Northern Tool hose it was replacing. I will only buy UL certified hoses in the future.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with this hose. After 1 year of daily use, the hose became strong and flexible in the cold. The outside of the hose is cut resistant when pulled over sharp edges when pumping fuel. Sun and hot weather don't bother this tube at all. can you bend it Yes. That's what swivel fittings are for. This is not a question or a problem. IF you want a certified kink-free hose, pay a lot more and don't drive over it. Made in the USA.

That was a great offer. I bought it to use as a drain hose for a 1 inch dirt pump. It serves its purpose and is exposed to sun, wind, rain and snow all year round. It has been running for about a year now with no sign of damage. The price was lower than some other drain hose I've reviewed, but it holds its shape unlike a regular drain hose and is much more durable and weather resistant than the cheap PVC and fabric hose I've had before.
