Very disappointed, was expecting some level of odor removal but no luck. Can handle airborne particles well, but don't buy and expect no odor removal at all. Have been buying from 3M for years with no problems, will return to them.

arrived on time and matched the description. I usually buy Filtrete filters but they are too expensive to change as often as I want. Theses are much more reasonable for the same MERV and allow me to change them without worrying about excessive cost.

The dimensions are smaller than the Filtrete filters we are used to. It is enough that there is a large (0.25) gap that allows air to circulate from the attic and basement. Not bad enough that I had to worry about returning it, but I probably won't buy it again.

Single purchase definitely cheaper. The filter looks good, well made. I recently replaced the previous one with one of these and all seems fine. I'll see how it holds up dust etc. I usually change every three months as there are no pets in the house.

As other reviewers have pointed out, the individual filters have no MERV rating markings - just a sheet of paper in a pack of 4. with a magnifying glass on the filter material - it looks quite porous. It would be nice to have some sort of filter certification as to their rating.

Arrived quickly. This filter is MERV 13 and seems to work fine with my 1 year old unit. 4 pack, not individually sealed. Once the packaging is opened and one of them is removed, the others can easily become contaminated unless they are carefully sealed with some sort of airtight foil. The manufacturer should carefully seal all filters in the container packaging, even if this means adding fewer than 4 filters per package. This is a serious issue and may determine if I place orders in the future.

I just bought a pack of 1" Merv-13 filters while I was servicing my oven. The service technician told me not to use anything higher than Merv 8 on my oven because the Merv 13 is too compact in a 1 inch filter to get the right amount of air through the system.
