Grease pipe thread does not match grease gun thread

grease pipe thread does not match grease gun thread. this. There was no way to connect them together without damaging the threads on the grease hose. I have returned the item. The local bike shop mechanic said they had a similar problem. They use a ParkTool PPL-1 tube of grease with a Finishline grease gun to solve the problem.

White bike lube. But with magic ingredients.

I use this grease for bike maintenance, especially for bearings. It looks and applies just like general purpose lithium grease. But it's formulated with Teflon fluoropolymers, advanced corrosion inhibitors and extreme pressure additives. My bike deserves all of this, so a tube of Finish Line Premium Grease will be at home on the workbench.

Might be better if used on a 3D printer

I bought this to lubricate my 3D printer, mainly for Z-axis screw rods (I have a double Z-axis screw rod) on my Ender 3 v2. While this lube is fine for this purpose, it is very thick and a little difficult to spread over the Z-bar grooves. I have also used this lube on an extruder stepper motor gear which also worked well but again was difficult to spread. I would look for another 3D printer lubricant.

Cons
  • Big and bulky

If you don't have a grease gun this is the item

Sure you can buy grease in bulk cheaper but it is good quality grease in a handy tube. I don't have a small grease gun handy and I'm not a professional mechanic so this works. At the pace I work on bikes it will be with me for many years to come. Bikes don't generally use large amounts of lube, so the convenience of dosing small amounts is more valuable than the cheapest lube. The fat itself is white.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • A little change

After 8 months the lubricant in the tube started to separate! Avoid!

This is an expensive grease compared to what you can buy for your car or boat that works just as well but I figured I'd afford it and buy it for my bike because I like the bearings not often dope and wanted something high quality and got it. I used it and there wasn't much left in the tube but when I tried to use it 8 months later it went bad! It came off the yellow oil that gushed out first, like a can of peanut butter. I can only imagine how bad the bearings are right now.

It's a lube and it works

I'll start by saying that I thought this lube was great. I've used it in several skate and bike stores and it seems to do the job admirably (although it's pretty hard to compare it effectively to cheaper alternatives). Since I can't effectively compare its features (meaning all options are reasonable), I'll talk about its ease of use alongside the fact that it works well. First, it's very sticky. This is a double-edged sword. That means it's difficult to work with, but it's also easier to get…

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Something different
